Desmitificar la espiritualidad - Demystifying spirituality
¿Qué es ser espiritual? ¿Qué es vivir en conciencia plena? - What is considered spiritual? What does living in full consciousness mean?
English bellow :)
¡Hola familia hermosa!
Somos espíritu haciendo experiencias humanas y no humanos teniendo experiencias espirituales.
No hace falta buscar fuera.
Todxs somos Maestrxs, todxs podemos recordar.
Y volví a sonreír. Volví a respirar.
No tenía sentido.
Estaba guiada, sostenida, no me sentía perdida.
Me reconecté.

As usual, please remember English is not my mother tongue :)
Hi gorgeous fam! How are you?
I know this email arrives a week late but you know, life 🙃
I was invited to be the the Akashic Records practitioner during the Mind Body Soul Festival in Thailand and I spent the last two weeks doing tons of Akashic Records reading sessions to people from all around the world. It was beautiful! Thanks everyone for the lovely feedback ❤️
Today I want to talk about what we understand by spiritual or spirituality, as it seems that some things or practices are “more spiritual” than others.
We’ve been talking about the personal and collective consciousness awakening we’re all going through and its implications since I started this newsletter.
I see and read tons of posts and articles on social media, pinterest and generally around me about rituals, abundance, positive thinking, charging crystals and the out-of-control intake of sacred and medicine plants as means to be “more spiritual” and be more connected, though they never come with a background energetic information to perform a profound and meaningful practice that’s not merely superficial.
There’s also a lot of judgment on what’s spiritual and what’s not, as if spirituality could only be practiced or achieved during specific practices and not on our daily routine.
It’s also been said that those who hold a lot of spiritual information, have read many books, attended many retreats and workshops are very spiritual… but how many people do we know that hold that information without sharing it with others or even applying that knowledge to themselves?
The spiritual bar is not measured by the amount of crystals I have, how much incense I burn, how many retreats I’ve been or rituals I practice.
Let’s set this straight: WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS DOING HUMAN EXPERIENCES. THEREFOR, EVERY EXPERIENCE IS SPIRITUAL.
Everything. From the “mundane” to the more connected. Everything is spiritual. Everything is spirituality. There is no separation.
Many centuries ago, the church and the system made us believe that “daily” life and our spiritual practices were done separately.
That there were times to spend on our spiritual practices, separated from our daily routine.
It is true that some practices help us connect easier with our spirit. It’s obviously easier to connect to subtle energies while meditating than while dealing with traffic, but that doesn’t make one more spiritual than the other.
The main difference is the amount of consciousness we put into each one of them.
Going through what we call “spiritual experiences” are mainly experiences where we’re consciously connected to our Higher Self*, our divine presence I Am*, connected to Truth, connected to Reality, further away from this third dimensional (3D) illusion.
*They are parts of our soul that are not incarnated in our body and that guide us throughout our human experience. I’ll explain it better in another newsletter as this one is already too long.
We sometimes have or achieve those experiences through meditation, during retreats, during times where we disconnect from the illusion of this 3D “reality”… and the thing these all have in common is that these are times where we lower the constant mental chatter and consciously connect to our spirit, to our essence, to our soul.
Everything is a spiritual experience. Absolutely everything.
A talk, a meal, a walk, cleaning the house… everything done in full consciousness, connected to our soul, our essence, our Higher Self or as you want to name it, can be what we wrongly call a “spiritual experience”.
Being in “full consciousness” is being in the present moment. Not living mentally or emotionally in past traumas nor in possible future timelines. But here and now. No expectations, no baggage, no future projection. Here and now. At this second. In the present moment. Reading this, conscious of our essence, of our selves.
Conscious that everything that is has a purpose, is alive. Conscious of the air I breath and the miracle my body is, keeping me alive with a perfect machine that I can’t fully comprehend.
Full consciousness is being aware of everything and nothing. Understanding we are part of the cosmos and, at the same time, inhabiting this body in this human experience.
A deep connection with spirit is not only achieved through what we traditionally perceive as meditation. We can be doing our daily chores and be extremely connected. Connecting from our body. Laughing, playing, enjoying… even feeling pain.
EVERYTHING DONE IN FULL CONSCIOUSNESS CONNECTS US DEEPER WITH THE TRUTH.
When I talk about the Truth or Reality with a capital T and R, I’m talking about the Reality that is not this 3D illusion: the superficial, the rush, the fares, the responsibilities, work, traffic or my fight with the neighbor but the Reality beyond this illusion.
I’m talking about the real purpose behind this illusion.
We call it the third dimension or 3D illusion because that is what it is. Some sort of “illusion” that our physical body and throughout the human experience feels very real indeed, and that the system, our current culture, religions and societies made us believe it was the only truth or reality instead of understanding that this illusion is our means to advance in our ascension process through different experiences.
We are spirits doing human experiences and not humans having spiritual experiences.
The ideal is to live as connected to Reality as possible, in full consciousness and understanding us all in Unity, without the separation we still perceive today. Conscious of our path, conscious of our purpose, our impact and our true potential.
Witches, wizards and shamans are very on fashion now… practicing rituals, charging crystals, intaking ayahuasca like there’s no tomorrow… believing this means being in full consciousness, being more spiritual, being more aligned.
But it will be hard to connect to Truth and transcend superficiality without an honest commitment to healing and reconnecting to our soul, without taking that uncomfortable inner journey, without dismantling the ego, without reconnecting to humbleness, compassion and the desire of helping others (which is the true human essence) while respecting the processes and practices or all beings.
There are and will be thousands of false prophets during the rise of the Aquarius Era. Millions of people saying that spirituality is this or that, that you have to do this or that to be “more spiritual”… but the truth is YOU ALREADY ARE A SPIRITUAL BEING.
YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CONNECT TO YOUR ESENCE AND SPIRIT AND PERCEIVE WHAT RESONATES INSIDE, REMEMBERING WHAT’S ALIGNED TO YOUR TRUTH AND PATH.
Nothing that makes you feel bad, uncomfortable or judged is aligned wth Truth.
The Universe don’t judge.
We know for a fact that there’s no judgement from the Akashic Records nor from the Light Beings (Ascended Masters, Angels, Archangels…).
What us human race call spirituality is the connection to our essence, the connection to our spirit, the connection to Truth. And Truth is only Love. Truth is only compassion. Truth is only humbleness.
We all have the answers inside. Each one of us. There’s no need to look outside.
It’s beautiful to have people that guide us. It’s beautiful to find inspiration and people who helps us remember… but, as I always say, Truth is inside yourself.
Let’s recover our forgotten instinct.
We are all Masters, we can all remember.
Part of the “test” while incarnating as human beings is transcending the human mind “prison”, cultural commands and limiting beliefs to remember who we Truly are.
We are so absorbed in our minds and have so much of our energy invested in the 3D, in our physical bodies and this illusionary system, that we are disconnected and forgot the Truth, we forgot the Reality of us being spirits just going through a human experience.
I sometimes talk about those who are disconnected. The murderers, the rapists, those who live and incite constant violence… they are somehow disconnected. Disconnected from their essence, disconnected from their spirit.
I often tell the story of the years I had anorexia and bulimia and how disconnected you are from who you are and your spirit while going through those deep, heavy states where you are a prisoner of your mind.
I spent three years obsessed. The only things that mattered to me and I could think of were food and my physical body.
Bulimia arrived a year after my anorexia and I used to throw up three or four times a day for more than a year.
Those years are kind of a blur now, it was just the obsession. There was nothing else.
My boyfriend at the time was from Almería and we spent our summers in Agua Amarga. One day two of his friends, the Echevarría sisters, invited me to their yoga session. That would be my first kundalini session ever and the type of yoga I would still practice today on a daily basis.
It was an intense session followed by an even more intense meditation. I haven’t meditated for years. And that was the moment when I reconnected. I remembered who I was. I reconnected to my spirit, my essence, my greatness and my power.
I remember the exact moment. It was during the meditation. It was like a string of energy coming out of my crown chakra, on the top of my head, that reconnected to my spirit. I could almost hear the “kling” sound when it happened. And I smiled again. And I breathed for the first time in a long time, after spending three years drowning.
I regained my consciousness, like waking up from a dream, or a nightmare, and I wondered what the heck happened.
That was the moment when I knew I would never throw up again. I just knew it. I didn’t have to anymore. It didn’t make any sense. And I never did, ever again.
I went from an obsession that consumed me mentally, emotionally and physically and made me throw up anything I eat four times a day to zero times.
I did have to rebuild my life, yes. And I had to work hard unlearning the mental patterns that sustained those behaviors. But I was connected again, everything was different. I felt guided, sustained, I wasn’t feeling lost.
This is not just some story. This happened to me, and it was not the only time. There was another week in my life that I was “dead alive”, as I call it, where I disconnected from my spirit and everything was darkness and pain. I recall it to be the most painful week of my life… and then thanks to my dear friend Coco, I remembered. I reconnected.
Being disconnected is extremely painful. For the body and the spirit. The more connected we are, the happier we feel.
People who inflict pain, are in constant pain. No one connected and feeling love can inflict pain.
So now we know that everyone and everything is spiritual, and the more connected we are, the happier we will be.
I wish for us all that our connection to Truth, Reality and our selves will be deeper and deeper without ever forgetting our sense of humor, which is also very spiritual (everyone who channel the Masters know what a great sense of humor They have).
Let’s always stay connected and keep those memes rolling ✨
